Marinière t shirt and pleated skirt
New episode for the #Rubriga, a column about stripes and marinière style. Today I try to find a new way to pair a striped t shirt. Looking at this curvy outfit of the day please don’t ask yourself the two fearfull questions: do orizzontal stripes make you look fat? Do pleats make you look fat?
Well, maybe they do, but you know what? I love this outfit, it makes me feel comfortable and jaunty because of the golden flat sandals and the mini pleated skirt and I think that feeling good is better that looking thinner. I wore it yesterday for the whole day and people kept repeting me that I looked like a college student. It’s pretty curious and I know that you have to be a little childish to be at ease in a look like this, but childhood is one of my best feature 
Something about the outfit: I wear a super low waist pleated skirt and a thin stripe tee paired with brass colored accessories: a thick belt and an ethnic inspired necklace.

Oggi per la #RubRiga della marinière esploriamo un altro modo per abbinare la maglietta a righe. Due domande classiche che guardando l’outfit curvy di oggi è meglio non porsi: le righe orizzontali ingrassano? Le gonne a pieghe ingrassano?
Può darsi che le righe non contribuiscano a slanciare la figura e che la gonna a pieghe faccia l’effetto bignè specie se corta e indossata con i sandali bassi, ma ieri sono andata in giro tutto il giorno conciata così e amici e parenti continuavano a dirmi che stavo bene vestita da collegiale. Tralasciando il poco azzeccato paragone scolastico mi piace l’idea di un outfit comodo ma sbarazzino, con cui correre in libertà come su una ventosa spiaggia della Bretagna.
Certo bisogna essere di fondo un po’ infantili per trovarsi bene in questi panni alla veneranda età di 34 anni, ma la puerilità è una caratteristica di cui non difetto
Piccola nota a margine: la collana vagamente etnica l’ho rubata a mamma. Prima ne avevo scelto una più vistosa, ma visto il caldo all’ultimo minuto ho preferito un accessorio meno ingombrante.
